About iDA
Designers worldwide are constantly conceptualizing and producing solutions -- from the serious to the whimsical -- through exploration of form and function. to draw attention to that iconoclasm, A handful of designers and entrepreneurs created the International Design Awards in 2007. it is multidisciplinary by design: the intention was to develop a unique arena for all designers internationally in order to further cross-disciplinary inspiration and dialogue.

Mission Statement
iDA exists to recognize, celebrate and promote legendary design visionaries and to uncover emerging talent in architecture and interior, fashion, product, graphic and fashion design.

Farmani Group, creators of the Lucie Awards for Photography, assembled the consortium as a sibling of the Annual Lucie Awards for Photography.
