Lynda Griffin, owner and principal interior designer of Creative Interior Designs by Lynda LLC, for more than a decade as a full service interior design firm located in Prince Georges County Maryland, is licensed, registered, and known for luxurious, but practical design services.
Lynda earned her Bachelors Degree from Norfolk State University (NSU). Lynda continued graduate studies in Urban Planning Architectural Design at NSU, the University of Virginia, Virginia Polytechnic University, and then learned from some of the DC areas top designers. She collaborated with numerous Owners and Manufacturers of furniture; works with licensed industry professionals; and is an Associate Member of the Interior Design Society (IDS) and a Member of the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA). Lynda has toured design centers across the country since 2004 to bring home inspiration, designs, and dcor from places, such as, the Pacific Design Center just east of Beverly Hills, Home & Design Idea Center in Scottsdale, Honolulu Design Center, Las Vegas Design Center, and the Washington Design Center. Since 2008, Lynda has presented Interior Design workshops for Kirklands and Babies R Us. She currently hosts her own interior design television show Destined for Design on PGCTV local station that showcases homes in the Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C and includes a focus on community service. She has been featured in The Designers Issue of Home & Design Magazine multiple times highlighting her creations as a designer. Norfolk State Universitys Behold magazine featured her complete redesign of the Alumni Relations office building. Lynda was recognized for the 2013 Outstanding Women in Leadership by the International Women in Leadership Association (IWLA). Lynda has served Area Coordinator for the Christmas in April Program to help the needy Senior Living families. Creative Interior Designs of Lynda was awarded a Best Of Houzz 2014 Award by Houzz. |
