Studio Tim Campbell (STC) is a boutique design firm specializing in high-end custom residential design for renovations, new construction along with specialty commercial projects including galleries, restaurants and hotels. Tim Campbell founded STC in 2006, bringing over 25 years of experience in the design field to his current twelve-person team.
What makes Studio Tim Campbell distinct is the teams leadership from start to finish on every project. STC oversees everything from the initial design consultation through full construction documentation, managing the necessary team members (engineers, landscape designers, lighting designers, etc.), permitting, bidding, selection of the general contractor, administering construction, procuring furniture, fixtures, equipment, art and accessories to final project installation. STC also offers interior design services including bespoke furnishings and fixtures to highly detailed individualized spaces that reflect each client's unique sensibilities. Tim Campbell views the design process as an ongoing collaborative conversation. He and his design team work with clients to help edit their visions and guide them towards the right choices and design solutions. With a solid background in the technicalities of construction from city codes to engineering regulations, STC projects are completed in a timely fashion. STC embraces the prospect that every building has its own character, born from its history and the people who have passed through it. Studio Tim Campbell renovation projects include architect Richard Neutras Singleton House (1959) in Bel Air and an estate remodel featuring Luis Barragns Campbell Divertimento Fountain (1927), a City of Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument, which was featured in the Los Angeles Times. Other projects include a restoration of Lloyd Wrights Alfred Newman Residence. In 2008, Campbell won a Single Family Residential Design award from the City of Beverly Hills Design Review Commission for a Spanish Mission-revival faade remodel for actress Diane Keaton. |
