Shangning Wang is a graphic designer, an illustrator and a creative outlet, he is focusing on commercial art, typography, illustration, branding, poster design and exhibition design.
He just finished the Master Program at Arizona State University, majoring Visual Communication Design. In 2015, his poster works were exhibited in many cities around the world, include in Dnepropetrovsk, La Paz, Seoul, Suzhou, Taipei, Sarasota, Bradenton, Phoenix, Trnava, Melbourne, and Lublin. Studied Visual Communication Design back in China Academy of Fine Arts in his undergraduate years, he studied Interaction Design, Brand Design, Book Design, and Information Graphic Design. He has combined graphic design and drawing in his many projects. It makes his work unique and distinct. Shangning pursued an education career in addition to his studio practice. He had collaborated with fellow designers to found an Art Education Studio in Dalian, China before he went to United States. The studio taught a variety of art and design courses including 2D & 3D Composition, Intro to Graphic Design, and Color Composition. Shangning enjoys cross-disciplinary learning and working. He would like work and interact with artists, engineers, musicians, and poets so he can get chance to analyze and interpret graphic design from different angles. It is fascinating to move between disciplines. Shangning also likes rational design and experimental design. Shangning aims to push his design far enough so that it can reveal flexibility and relevance to the subject. |
