Studio Pacific is a contemporary architectural firm based in Wellington, New Zealand. They have a long history of designing innovative projects from small furniture pieces to large scale town-sized layouts. I was given the task of working with the copy and images of Studio Pacific and designing a book that appropriately captured their style. The cover design in particular was given a lot of attention. I drew inspiration directly from The Rock, international airport in Wellington. The Rock is very distinct in its asymmetrical, geometric, and fragmented facade. My book cover uses origami folding techniques to try and imitate the folded panels of the Rock. The cover unfolds completely into a poster that says "STUDIO PACIFIC"
