Entry Description

The technic of weaving a spider web is repeated in the virtual weaving of the slender necklace made of white gold. The idea of spider webs is used to design a collection of different jewelry pieces, embedded to the female evening clothing. The garment has integrated nine pieces of jewelry that are interconnected into a single creation. Different items of white gold jewelry in the shape of fragile, gentle spider webs intertwined with fabric that echoes the wavelike structure of the jewelry. The motion of thread in space creates a web, which gives an impression of fabric. It enwraps and embraces the body, which opens up numerous opportunities for designing unconventional jewelry pieces, single or embedded to the dress. Asymmetrically inset zirconia stones are reminiscent of fresh dew drops glittering on the webs. The impression of optical fragility highlights the transience of Nature and its beauty.
