Entry Description

As an initiative to further augment Student safety, emergency contact points were strategically placed around the Western Sydney University campuses. These would enable anyone in a vulnerable situation to contact Campus Safety & Security for immediate help… But what form would this take?
These three design directions are based on iconography of “Help”: an exclamation mark; the letter Y (the international symbol for “Yes I need help”); and the raised hand for “attention”.
The design direction ultimately implemented was that of the exclamation mark!
