Literis by Eckhard Beger for ArteNemus is a family of bookshelves designed to accommodate books with a variety of sizes as well as magazines and large drawings. The intriguing layout of the shelves and dividers follows a stair shaped graphic and ornamental pattern with a central focus. This pattern is emphasised by the powerful contrast between the light maple veneer and the black ebony marquetry inlay on all the faces of the bookshelf. Literis is conceived in 3 widths to accommodate rooms of different sizes. When combining 2 or 3 units of Literis the ornamental pattern of the shelves is repeated and accentuated. Dimensions W x H x D: 161/124/94 x 202 x 35cm Literis has been awarded the artist of the year award at the London International Creative Competition 2016.
