Sunrise gets started and emerges from the kitchen counter thanks to a remote control, which also allows to run all the various functions of the product. When it is not working, the cooker hood hides again inside the counter top. The creative approach stems from an in-depth study of materials and technologies, with the aim to create an object connecting with its user on a functional and emotional level. The design of the object draws from and re-elaborates in a futuristic version those fluid and soft shapes of the 40’s and the 50’s. We looked for harmony and balance between project and human nature, wanting to create a perfect interaction between user, environment and object. We gave life to a product with a highly technological soul, embodied into an aesthetic innovation for the market of cooker hoods.
