Entry Description

Le Sifflu, inner peace-pipe
a therapeutic object through mechanic

a brass tube for exhaling

The Human being smokes and chews to respect tradition and also in a social or cultural manner. The recent rise of vapers and new ‘smokes’, to replace tobacco which has been determined as harmful, has led me to question these practices. Vaping is indeed considered as potentially toxic by some, while it is a rooted habit for others.

Breath is in fact at the center of this research. If some smokers do adopt bad ‘mechanical’ habits,
some non-smokers happen to do the same, by forgetting how important it is to breathe correctly for a good health.
Inhaling a lot, too much, and not exhaling properly, not enough, or rapid breathing.... all this creates tensions and maintains stress.
