This office is design for one of the world's leading third party logistic providers specializing in customized freight forwarding and supply chain solutions. It takes up the whole building of four floors in Chengdu City, China. The site was originally in a bare shell condition. It has an area of 12,400 square meters accommodating for 1,400 working members in the setup. The design delivers a fun and playful concept, the main reception lobby is very roomy, located on the ground floor whereas the other floors are densely occupied by all working staffs, it gives a contrast effect on both forms and space. The curvy wall penal next to the reception desk create an aquatic feel to the lobby, together with the splash like iconic blue and green circle lighting features on the ceiling are fun and eye catching, they also go in harmony with the mono tone reception space which has high color contrast effect. As for the office perimeter, the design use a lot of clear glass penal to channel the natural daylight to the office; which is not only energy saving but also environmental friendly, the whole office is based on open concept, it encourages an easy and convenient communication flow between working staffs and build a closer and stronger staff relationship around. The little cactus on each desk provide a lively touch for each staff, a bit of vivid colour for everyone at work; something common for the general staff’s everyday concern. The collaboration area on each floor is green based with the lovely panda as wall decor, coordinate with the bright coloured armchair to generate an energetic atmosphere for staff to take a break or having a quick discussion there. It discreetly stated the office is located in Sichuan Province where panda originally born. Deriving from the same concept, the pantry on each floor is also using the iconic blue and green colour of the company, with bright yellow chairs to give a joyful and "bon-appétit" environment for everyone who use it.
