Entry Description

This Master Bedroom Suite occupies an entire floor in a townhouse located in the West Village in New York City. The idea of water hitting water - the ripple effect - gave the inspiration for patterns and colors. The whole project is custom and many artisans were involved creating finishes that are truly unique. Verre Eglomise, wheel cut glass, Venetian plaster applied in 'ripples' in the bedroom, lacquer on the bathroom cabinets, custom tufted wool carpeting and the most exquisite 'blue' onyx covering most of the Master Bathroom surfaces.

About Designer

Harry Heissmann Inc. was established in 2009 in New York City. Harry arrived in the United States in 1995 after obtaining a Masters of Interior Design Degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. Before opening his eponymous firm, Harry spent 9 years working with Mr. Albert Hadley, who dubbed his desk 'the magic shop'.
