Istanbul'da Harika Bir Gun (A Great Day in Istanbul) is an activity and puzzle app, based on the illustrated print book, published by Altin Kitaplar, for elementary school kids. The colourful graphics and animated interactions aim to entertain kids while they are learning about the highlights of Istanbul. The application gives basic information about places with historical and cultural importance, helps children test their knowledge with its activity - puzzle games and make them develop observation and creative writing skills with its "My Journal" section. Kids can also play and have fun, decorating their dream palaces and dressing up the app characters. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/istanbulda-harika-bir-gun/id960698621
I started my education on visual arts at Istanbul Anatolian Fine Arts High School in 1992. In 1996, becoming the first winner in academy exam, I was accepted to Mimar Sinan University, for Cinema & TV at the Faculty of Fine Arts. Until the graduation at 2001, I wrote and directed 5 short-films and worked as production & director assistant for tv ads. After graduation, I began studying on graphic arts and working at various advertising agencies as a graphic designer, illustrator and art director. I worked as the creative director of a brand called "Elma Armut" between 2005 and 2008. I continue my profession as a graphic designer independently since then.
