The exclusive and limited edition “Warre’s Jubileum 1972 Port” was launched by Warre’s, purveyor to the Royal House of Denmark, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the accession of Queen Margrethe II to the throne of Denmark. She was crowned on 14 January 1972, exactly the same year this Port was produced. The label, back label, stopper and packaging are designed by the Portuguese advertising agency Omdesign, which chose to develop a noble, premium identity, closely associated with the Royal House and the country itself in all the graphic elements and colours used. Only 3,000 numbered bottles were sold on the Danish market.
