Entry Description

To push the boundary of fashion design by questioned if fashion should be traditionally sewn in costly fabrics. Soft plastic, felt ,stainless steel bolts and nuts are the only components used in these 2 dresses. The dresses are "sewn" by bolts and nuts without any threads nor traditional stitching. The innovative structure of the outfits are well calculated to ensure it is not only unique and elegant, but also wearable, and easy to fit majority ordinary body size. With this innovative concept, the 2 dresses had been worn by local top singers in concert and award giving ceremony. Now they are collected by the Hong Kong Heritage Museum .
