STRUKTUR desk and chair set

The STRUKTUR desk and chair are results of experimentation in structural integrity and manufacturing processes. They are both made out of bent sheet steel with laser-cut steel structural braces. The parts are all then welded together and finished with a highly durable powder coat, the chair is upholstered, and the end product is a beautifully stylish yet extremely sustainable structure.

Eric Kuczynski is the owner and founder of EK Living and eric::kuczynski design. Eric was trained as an industrial/graphic designer at the University of Michigan with additional training at the Lorenzo Di Medici University in Florence, Italy. The latter is where Eric developed a strong passion for architecture, fine art, furniture, and interior design. Through his world travels and studies he has developed a simplistic yet sophisticated approach to design, resulting in a sleek, stripped down, modern style. Eric's influences are rooted deep in the styles of the great architects and designers of the 1920s and 30s (Walter Gropius,Hannes Meyer,Mies Van Der Rohe, Marcel Breuer, Le Corbusier). He believes strongly in the Bauhaus philosophies of functionalism and minimalism but combines them with the Post-War and Retro styles of the 50s, 60s, and 70s. His strong passion for art and creating art plus his exploration of manufacturing processes allows him to create unique pieces that stand out in the modern furniture market.
