The Farallon?s simple bent tubing and fabric-sleeve construction can be seen as a descendent of the classic 50?s Italian tube chair. Only this time around, its functions have been adapted for our new personal technologies, as well as the old newspaper too.

Farallon?s silhouette highlight?s the simplicity of construction, but belies the hidden functions the chair has to offer. A single, continuous piece of fabric flows over the frame, creating a dip in between the back of the chair and the seat. Sometime-laptop pocket, sometime-newspaper storage, the center fold visually connects seat and backrest without an internal structure, reducing clutter around the chair, but keeping necessities accessible.
