iOO CORE is all you need to create interactive videoprojections for
floors, walls, tables or wherever you can videoproject.
Images and videos react to how people move: you can walk on the
water, make flowers appear on a table just moving your hand over it
or reveal a blue sky after the rain when you pass in front of a wall.
It?s a new kind of interaction, simple and surprising, designed to grab
attention, engage people and create a memorable experience.
iOO CORE is based on a new computer vision technology developed
by iO and currently patent pending: a camera sees what people do
and translated this information into computer instructions. You don?t
need to touch, as we believe emotions are touchless...
But what makes iOO CORE so special is not just its capability to
create wonderful interactive effects: we designed it so that you can
create your own interactive artwork without writing a line of code. You
don?t have to be an engineer because CORE is conceived around the
idea that not just playing but even programming it has to be simple
and immediate.

iOO CORE includes the main unit, wireless keyboard with trackball, remote control and power cable.

iOO CORE is suitable for ceiling mounting, wall mounting and table mounting, to create interactive floors, walls and tables.

iOO CORE has the same size of an A4 paper sheet (about 30cm by 20cm).

Alessandro is an Italian interactive systems engineer and experience designer at iO. He received his MSc and PhD degrees in computer engineering from the University of Florence, in 2000 and in 2004. In 2001 he started focusing on the topic of natural interaction between humans and machines. Since then he created interactive walls, floors, tables, windows, artifacts... Alessandro lives and works in Chianti, Tuscany, Italy, with his own two cats.
