Infinity Chandelier

Lead Designers
Entry Description

I?ve always believed light to be a living thing. The concept behind the Infinity Chandelier was to create an environment for light - to construct a contained space to contemplate infinite beauty. The Chandelier contains sixty hand blown and sculpted glass bubbles, each one different from the other and born from an organic and natural sensibility. Framed by two-way mirrors, the lighting piece creates an illusion of infinite illuminated possibilities. When the light source is greater on the inside, the hand sculpted glass spheres light up, with endless reflections bouncing off of the mirrored surfaces. Conversely, when the light source is greater outside of the chandelier, light reflects off of the mirrored outside surfaces reflecting the surroundings/viewer, subtly veiling the inside contents. You can not capture the dimensionality of the Infinity Chandelier in a photograph, so I listed the video below so as to give you a truer experience of the piece.
