Entry Description

This is the Lotus Dress, it is completely made out of recycled scraps of silk chiffon, organza, georgette and charmeuse. I handmade the pattern, garment and beading myself, as well as the fabric hand painting. The Lotus dress is inspired by my many trips to China, and visits the highly decorative Buddhist temples, and the women that worship them. It definitely is a sight to see!
