Shakespeare For Dreamers

Lead DesignersGiorgia Molinari
Prize(s)Gold in Print / CD, DVD & Record Sleeves
Entry Description

The songs from Shakespeare's plays Hamlet, The Tempest, Anthony and Cleopatra, A Midsummer Night's Dream spring to life through the pen of the composer Nicola Segatta.
To recreate the dreamy atmosphere of the timeless theatrical pieces, the original printed words from Shakespeare's First Folio ( published in 1623 ) were reworked as illustrations and titles, accompanied by the dreamlike works of Armenian artist Ashot Grigoryan.
