Spirit of this project lies at the subtraction, sculpture is the way used in shaping the events in between. Architecture of the reception center adopts the light and sculptural feeling from the building body. Through simplified materials with large area in pure white, the purity for the building body is intentionally maintained and followed with refined lines to display the aesthetics of the architectural surface. The materials in use reflect the imposed low limit and minimalism, and shape the architectural body into one natural and bright luminous body.
The tone of the architecture approaches the demand from modernity. Its style reflects the minimalism from decorative arts. Contrasting to the hustle and bustle of the city, this transcends the complexity. Along with the rhythmic lines, the architectural body becomes a piece of modern sculpture full of strength and futurism at the crisscross of lights and shadows.
Essence of the design does not rest at the strength stemmed from the size of the space nor the magnitude; instead, it focuses on the injection with details comprising extreme delicate lights and shadows, the slicing, the lines, variations of the building materials intermingling both the building and the space and person inside.
