This is a show house using “Executive Chef” as the main concept and showing house owner’s cooking interests and food preferences. To visualize the concept, designers made use of various cooking ingredients and tools and evolved them into furniture and interior design in which can fully interpret the relationship between the living space and the living style of the house owner altogether.
In addition to the design creativity, designers considered the practical functionality as well. Not only the ingredients and animal shaped furniture, there are a lot of professional cooking equipments, like the infrared smokeless barbecue oven, electric fry furnace, etc. and there is seasonal ingredients storage area, the owner can cook the delicious meals for the families and friends with the full and well equipped settings even staying at home.
To give the first impression into the house, there are various kinds of animals shaped furniture on the first floor and demonstrating the owner’s interest obviously. In the living room, there are stainless steel “chopping boards” stacking to form the coffee table, “plates” piling up to form the table and “cow” shaped area rug; while in the dining area, there are “noodles-liked” pendent lamp, the whole first floor is interesting.
Furthermore, in the bar area, forks were beat to form a side chair and there are round “sheep-liked” bar stools. The pendent lamps are made up of milk bottles, the study table is in “marshmallows” shaped and the wash basins are inspired by the shape of the “egg cup” as well.
In master bedroom, the wardrobe is similar to old style refrigerator with the big size metal hinges and pumping hands and dressing table is using the idea of food warmer using on buffet table.
In the master bedroom, designers make use of forks and plastering, and turn theseforks into interesting feature wall.
