Entry Description: The Durathon™ Steam Irons were created to assist in unifying the look of the Hamilton Beach© family of products, while introducing intuitive new features with unique, fresh styling. The irons were designed from start to finish with the user in mind, focusing on improved ergonomics with enhanced styling. All irons include soft touch surfaces on the handles and controls with large and easy to read graphics. New digital interfaces were developed for higher end models, with bold colors and intuitive commands. The modern body was sculpted to be smooth and easy to clean. On the side of each iron are clean lines and surfaces for the Hamilton Beach© logo, as well as a nested metallic logo badge highlighting the Durathon™ family name. The large water reservoir door is easy to open and close with just the slide of a finger, while the anti-drip system keeps water from spilling on your clothing. The ceramic nonstick soleplate was designed to be a point of emphasis on each unit. Sleek, curved edges provide a unique silhouette that assists users trying to iron in small, hard to reach spaces, such as around collars or between shirt buttons. The steam hole patterns were specifically designed for each iron, and meticulously placed to maximize coverage space and provide superb glide performance. The irons were also designed for when not in use. Features include a three-way automatic shutoff, a small footprint when stood upright, and unique cord management options, such as a pull out cord wrap or push button retractable cord.
