Entry Description

HIV is a horrible black plague in this age and more and more people have contracted this disease. Being timid to face the truth and ignorant to think that they are always lucky, some people who are likely to get HIV never examine themselves through blood test and still have sex freely with others. Apart from that, some people who already know that they are HIV carriers purposely have sex with others without HIV prevention for a malign intention. The poster, Cross Fingers tries to express this issue. The poster combines the image of Crossed fingers, a hand gesture used to superstitiously wish for good luck or to nullify a promise, and the image of red ribbon, the symbol of people living with HIV/AIDS. The image of the poster expresses some HIV carriers who are victims can also become abusers because they are not honest with themselves and others.
