ReDirect is an in the kitchen composting machine, designed to be a complete system to encourage and support users in their quest to reduce their food waste. The Challenge we face is that food waste in landfills is the third-largest contributor of greenhouse gasses in the world. All this food waste is organic material that could be used to grow more food. Garbage disposals are a great tool in a prime location to make redirecting nutrients easy and painless for many Americans. My call to action is simple. Please composite!
