Electric vehicles have been making significant strides in the field of racing, with the emergence of Formula E and other all-electric racing series. However, long charging times and pit stops can reduce the excitement of these races. This project focuses on designing a vehicle and a mechanism that minimizes pit stop time and protects the lives of drivers without compromising the thrill of the race, while still ensuring that drivers play an important role in driving the car. I tried to make the perfect balance between automation and human control.
