The Central Library is a modern library that integrates teaching and research services, includes reading rooms, network center, etc. It has 1 floor underground and 5 floors above, with a total area of about 40000 m2.
The design integrates into diamond axis of campus, decomposes volume into two classic cube. Two atriums with different characteristic in each cube, optimizes lighting and ventilation, also creates a variety of possibilities. The shape and facade of the building strive to find a balance between classical and modern, and also highlight its solemn and elegant characteristics.
