This multi-disciplinary team of a professor and students from RIT have created a smartphone app for people with back problems. This app will help people develop healthy habits to help their backs and improve their lifestyles. Using elements of gamification (incorporating gameplay), this app will take the users on a journey where they can explore and learn about ways to improve their back health and their lifestyle choices. They can do this by completing daily challenges that consist of doing a series of exercises, meditations, yoga, stretches, and reading educational information.
