I analyze the reasons behind the parents’ behavior from the perspective of history, social opinion, and traditional Chinese culture. Considering that depression as a mental illness is not as easily understood by society as a physical illness, I am trying to help the general public better understand what depressed people go through by simulating the symptoms of depression.
