Winner of the Young Architect of the Year Award and the International Design Award, Swiss architects Camenzind Evolution have placed themselves firmly within the new generation of up-and-coming architects. Fundamental to their very diverse work is the fusion of design ingenuity with Swiss quality. Having gained many years of international experience in the architectural offices of Nicholas Grimshaw in London and Renzo Piano in Paris, in 1995 Stefan Camenzind founded the architectural studio Camenzind Evolution which has evolved into a partnership with Russian born architect Tanya Ruegg-Basheva. The studio has grown to 10-15 architects today. Many of the projects have been the result of winning architectural competition and have, like the Sports Centre Buchholz, won multiple awards including the Swiss Prix F?d?raux des Beaux-Arts, the German Bauwelt Award and the IAKS Gold Award.
