"Friday I'm In Love" is a poster series for a self curated film festival. The festival itself celebrates the stranger side of the romance film genre. The performance criteria for this project was to create a 4 poster series that explores the dynamic relationship between constants and variables in systematic graphic design. As individual posters, each must function on its own, and when combined have a visual relationship with each other. As a student of, one of the greatest parts of working on this specific project was coming to a solution that felt like the perfect marriage of everything I have learned about good design, and my own voice as an artist.
Kahlil-Gibran said that "Work is love made visible," and Saul Bass said "Design is thinking made visual." I love communication, the sharing of thoughts and ideas, and that is why I love graphic design and have chosen to make it my work.
