IDA 2024 NOW OPEN -- Final Deadline November 30, 2024
This cashmere coat is part of a knitwear collection I designed as my final school project. The garment is a one of a kind design, a fully fashioned knit piece, knitted on a single bed knitting machine and hand dye with acid dye.
The eccentric yet elegant design, forms shapes like origami around the body. The sculptural look was achieved to give a different look from every angle.
I was inspired by the architectural work of Frank Gehry. This Futuristic winter Coat is very asymmetrical and sculptural like some of the details in his buildings.
