Entry Description

plein06, in collaboration with Witteveen+Bos Latvia, Panevėžio Keliai and Terra Firma designed a bridge that strengthens the natural environment of the river and its adjoining landscape.The bridge will have a green boulevard on the eastern side – with a view towards the city. The green boulevard runs into the V-shape that carries the bridge and can be entered by walkers as an intimate and comfortable space where they are able to rest and enjoy a panoramic view of the historical Kaunas center and can be used as a space for art and cultural expositions , or small music performances.
