“Night Falls on the Berlin of the Roaring Twenties“ is a book about the golden age of Berlin. On the example of major artists and writers, but also theater actors, movie stars, directors, and other movers and shakers, the book tells about the triumphs of the arts during a time of technological and societal innovation, social contrast, and political unrest. With hand drawn typography, the book is illustrated and designed in the style of illuminated advertising, billboards, old movies, and movie posters, and translates musical and cinematic elements into its medium.
