This series represents the grid, a cityscape, an allusion to an exaggerated suiting plaid. The original inspiration stems from a passion and family retail legacy within traditional suiting and how to refresh the old. The second design source is an old textbook I found in my grandfather's office entitled "Graph Paper from your Copier". The pages of graphs read as dynamic, varied plaids. I took these images, reworked them digitally, and wove them with vibrant colors on the Jacquard loom. The fabrics are intended for fine women's suiting.
