The most crucial method of the White House Homestay project is to integrate the roof terrace space of the four independent houses that were originally owned by different owners. This, in turn, creates a rare public space in a high-density village. Built with a new spatial structure, the public space is floating in the air and transform the private living space into a public space, making it possible to solve the problem of the lack of public space in the village creatively and demonstrate how the old buildings could be adapted to the new function.
