Femme is a gender ambiguous collection that portrays my story navigating life as a queer effeminate man. From a young age I felt pressured to hide my femininity through masculine ideals and clothing in order to feel valid and fit in. I hit a breaking point when I no longer could recognize myself anymore and from that moment decided to live my life as my true self, regardless of how others would judge me. Femme aims to blur the line between womenswear and menswear to emulate my experience with clothing. Femme is for my younger self and others like me to see it’s okay to be feminine and a man.
