Picky eating and food adversities are invisible disabilities most often treated through therapy or simply coped with. Little exploration has been done in how the interior environment impacts picky eaters of all ages and their interaction with food. With the rise of the Food Hall, public eating environments need to consider its user groups to create more inclusive spaces and ensure their success. This project uses rigorous first-hand research, literature reviews, and implemented design strategies to create The Plunge | Conquering Fear for the Invisible Palate in Public Eating Environments.
