Marking my first time leaving Vietnam for America, this collection draws inspiration from threads of memory. I was influenced by how Peter Do paid homage to his Vietnamese roots in past collections, with details sparked by his childhood and family memoirs. I experimented with my mom's wardrobe, deadstock fabrics from my previous workplace, and silhouettes inspired by my best friends' styles. The complex layers represent the mixed feelings of homesickness.
