This project is about contributing to the Latin-American countries integration, giving more importance to the richness of their cultural aspects. The center of the project is creating a visual identity to the Latin-American passports, with an integrated system that highlights the cultural elements and encourages people to travel and get to know their own country.
The project is divided into 3 areas: a graphic alphabet, security elements and content template. The graphic alphabet is a code system built from elements found in the craftwork leading to the creation of unique symbols for each country and document holders. Cultural manifestations are represented on the passport pages and maps are used as security elements.
Academic final degree project developed in December of 2016, at the Pontíficia Universidade Catolica do Rio de Janeiro, with the orientation of the designer Fabio Lopez.
