Entry Description

The Waltzing Matilda exhibition is a multi-sensory experience that immerses visitors in a journey layered with content and perspectives from diverse sources within the community. Dominating the exhibition space, the Billabong experience is encapsulated by a silicone rod curtain. This sensory experience is the next wave of museum interpretation. The curtain captures the light and animated graphics inside and out, creating a cutting-edge innovative art installation. It is a storytelling space that holds the stories of natural phenomena, hidden mysteries within Winton's ancient landscape.
