BMW Xplore is a holistic mobility design project that has hardware, software and service components. The project aims to remove pain-points in mobility through a human-centred and iterative design process that included immersive prototyping from the beginning. The service builds on 8 touchpoints that have been identified in the user research exploring long-distance driving. It empowers people in their daily life to plan, host guests, arrange required items, learn about the surrounding, remember things they saw and even in experiencing time-travelling.
