Entry Description

As a Chinese citizen, Emily Jiang grows up learning Chinese, speaking in Chinese, and writing in Chinese. As time goes on, she realizes Chinese is not only part of her culture, but it has also been part of her blood. Chinese as a primarily pictographic or ideographic language has over 3000 years of history. Chinese Character arts often present in Chinese Calligraphy, She creates Chinese charters into jewelry to allow people physically to touch the character and feel the stroke of each character. And she intends to pass on Chinese civilization and spreading Chinese culture.
