This packaging was conceptualized and designed as an alternative to traditional beer packaging during my 3Dimensional Studio coursework at Savannah College of Art and Design. As part of the creative process I looked for ways to create an eco-friendly solution while being economically viable. The package uses less material than current options – while also providing a reusable solution during the point of purchase. After the first 6-pack is purchased and consumed, you can re-fill the pack at a discounted rate.
The idea of the fictitious Nevermore Brewery stemmed from a late night reading of Edgar Allen Poe's poem, The Raven. Each of Nevermore's full-flavored brews is named after the illustrious bird. Nevermore brews Black Bird Brew; an all-American black lager beer, Raven's Roost; a smooth pale ale and finally, Crow's Nest; a coastal wheat brew. This new design features a sustainable approach to bottle packaging and purchasing experience.
