Y Combinator-backed US startup Electric Air is passionate about accelerating the adoption of residential electric heat pumps by improving their design. Their all-electric heating and cooling HVAC system designed by blond is a modern heat pump system with HEPA filtration made up of four modules: a Condenser, Air Handler & Humidifier, wall-mounted Air Conditioner and a Thermostat. The products have a rational yet progressive aesthetic that is designed to have a long-lasting, timeless appeal — while also introducing Electric Air’s innovative, disruptive nature to potential customers.

Bio

BLOND is a critically acclaimed London-based design studio that collaborates with the world’s leading brands and startups. Founded by Creative Director James Melia in 2015, the studio's drive to create a sustainable future underpins its practice – with established processes and methods of working with clients – carefully selecting opportunities that positively contribute towards their goal of developing conscientious brands through design.
