Entry Description

Located on the beside of the West Lake, Hangzhou,as a National First-Class Museum,the China Silk Museum is the first National Museum of silk specialty. It is also the world's silk-themed thematic museum of textile and clothing. It has become an important window to publicize the economic belt of the Silk Road and the construction of the Maritime Silk Road.
The design of the Museum revolves around the theme of "Jincheng" and takes timeline of the development of the Silk Road as the exhibition path which is divided into eight circular display units from the early origin in Warring States to now.
