The Ancient's Whisper is a collection inspired by a Taiwanese aboriginal group, called Tao. This is the only ethnic group in the southern island of Taiwan. Every year this community has a festival called "The Flying Fish Festival", this event presents a sustainable development of fishing techniques as well as wisdom from their elderly people. As a Taiwanese designer this collection hits close to home, my main priority is to show how Taiwan has its own identity and perception of life, and how our communities has their own skillsets and talents.
