The new Mirinda Slice bottle strengthens the brand’s story with dynamic tactile product packaging. Inspired by the action of fruit being sliced, the new PET bottle depicts two textured tangerine slices, halved by a diagonal “cut” in the packaging. With a reduced weight format combined with carbonation pressure, multiple tests and simulations were required to achieve the successful final design. The new PET bottle design packaging celebrates the fruitiness of Mirinda in an innovative way, and addresses the specific needs of the Chinese beverage market.
