We were asked to create an identity from the ground up for a new non-profit, UNRESERVED, that works to foster the talents of American Indians interested in pursuing careers in the worlds of fashion and art. The bold mark is a contemporary monogram that abstractly represents the convergence of a rich history and the modern world. Traditional imagery is recontextualized through layers of modern typography and energetic, gestural shapes. Together, these elements paint a picture of a organization that is constantly evolving, and recontextualizing the past – much like the artists that it hopes to champion.
